With a heavy heart..

It is with great regret that I must inform you all that the Riftland server and the entire project will come to a close. I feel like while it's certainly been a good run, maybe it's been slightly overdue. Constant project terminations and reboots of the server gave us..a little bit of a reputation for failure.

There are several reasons for this decision, the most important of which is time constraints. The server needs constant development and bug-fixing in order to thrive and with Seif and I as a two man team, it's difficult to allocate time to Minecraft amidst personal issues. It's not a simple matter of who's going to administrate the server while the developers are busy or away, but there has to be new content and without it, the server would die.

Before I write an even larger essay, I'll probably take this as an opportunity to thank you all for having me as the project manager over the years, from Craftland to now. I can say with a degree of certainty I will not create another server again, but I wish the best of luck to those who will, for this community. The forums will remain open as usual.

Yeah, it was going to happen sooner or later. I easily got over 1000 hours of gameplay out of these mc servers haha.

Sad day indeed, but i missed all this stuff i was playing Skyrim a lot. Hopefully some part of the community comes together and forms a new server. If that was the case i would help build spawn and stuff if they did. well that's all for now from me.

I am, but i already knew it would turn out this way with Vince leading it, and it being a custom modpack with only 2 people who can maintain it, yet no one would see reason or refuse to accept the fact it'll fall into chaos and vince would end it once more.

I offered to pay the server host if things were changed but as usual, Vince decided not to change it and once again control freaked over it, with that i said i was not going to be a part of it and waste my money on something which would only crash and burn, and i quote 'I'll put my money into this as an investment but only if things change' Which as you can see did not

I requested that the payments would change so it would go into a different paypal account, which the admins owned, Change in modpack something manageable, with a bigger team custom would be perfect.

Server runned by multiple people, incase someone decides to leave and then we have backup admins, a few more but i shall not drag 

I play on a Voltz server, but also Dota2 

smp3.minemod.org, Brilliant server from which i'm a Moderator in, Per usual  Great server PVP/Grief-Raid/Survival/Factions -Donator Perk although im un-raidable being in my location

While that would have been nice, there was no way Vince would ever change it. As much as I didn't like it I still went along with it. I'll see you on minemod I suppose.

As soon as vince put the server down for maintenence post up I knew it was gone, just the usual shit going on

Saw it coming but oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Thanks Vince and Seif for taking time out of your life for the server. Damn I miss Craftland. And Minecrack too.

:3 Also, I am not suprised at ALL that this went down the shitter with the amount of rehashes, and lets not forget that even minecraft gets pretty dry after four years(Or more) with a +1000 hour playtime to it.

But fuck that! Total war:Rome 2 have come out so lets all spend the next five years with that!(While drunk as shit because ive watched a lot of you darlings grow up to an age where you can get alcohol -cries- they grow up so fast...)
